About Cicada Interiors

Cicada Interiors traces its roots back to 1997, beginning with formal interior design studies in the Philippines, completed in 1999. Since then, the career has focused on design—starting as an independent interior designer and 3D visualiser for an advertising agency.

In 2012, the family relocated to Fiji, where work continued as a showroom interior designer before advancing to Head of Joinery, managing custom joinery projects and leading teams until 2015.

After moving to Sydney, skills expanded through hands-on experience as a CNC machine operator, cabinet maker, and joinery drafter, specialising in kitchens and bathrooms.

In 2025, Cicada Interiors was officially launched. After years of putting this passion on hold, it was time to pursue it fully.
